Folkuniversitetet offers day and evening courses as well as lectures in areas such as languages, economics, communication, writing, and aesthetic subjects. Our courses are primarily aimed at individuals but also at associations and companies.

About the assignment
We are looking for a course leader in languages, preferably French, Thai, German, Korean, sign language, and TAKK. Other languages may also be of interest. Our courses are mainly conducted in the evenings, but there may also be courses during the day and on weekends in our premises located in Borås.
You will independently plan and conduct your courses, as well as follow up and register attendance.

Your skills and background
We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of the relevant language and an interest in cultural and social issues related to the country/region where the language is spoken. You should also have good knowledge of Swedish. It is an advantage if you have education and experience in teaching adults or other experience in leading groups of adults.

As a course leader at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to have the ability to customize teaching to individuals and bring out each individual's potential. It is important that you enjoy sharing knowledge and see the positive aspects of course participants' development. You are flexible, attentive, and structured, and have experience working independently. We also expect you to share our view on the equal value of all people and the right to knowledge.

Employment form
The employment is a project-based position (employment per course) with compensation per study hour. Planning is done in close cooperation with responsible staff at Folkuniversitetet.
